AIRBORNE – Precision and Stability
The Airborne series is the pinnacle of hybrid solutions: it combines the stability of professional RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats) with the speed of Nordkapp’s sporty, vacuum-technology hulls. This boat is built for those who desire safety and compromise-free performance even in the harshest conditions.
COMPOSITE HULL
Unlike traditional RIBs, the Airborne is not simply a rigid-bottomed inflatable boat. The hull structure is identical to the Coupe series, manufactured with vacuum infusion technology (GRP). This production method guarantees outstanding torsional stiffness and a low center of gravity, which are fundamental for high-speed maneuvering.
PROGRESSIVE STABILITY
The combination of the deep-V hull and massive air chambers (tubes) drastically reduces listing both at a standstill and during sharp turns. This construction gives the boat a “forgiving” character: the tubes physically prevent over-listing, ensuring that boating remains predictable and safe even at the limits.
DRIVER-CENTRIC ERGONOMICS
The deck layout focuses on the captain. Deeply positioned seats and a well-designed console provide maximum wind protection against water spray, while the deck arrangement allows for unobstructed movement during docking and water sports.
SEAS & RIVERS
Although the construction is sized for open sea swells (Offshore category), this technology is also an advantage on the Danube. The hull easily cuts through the waves of larger commercial vessels, and the torque of the Mercury motors ensures sporty dynamics without compromise.
